Bride & Groom: Madeline & Scott
Wedding Venue: NYBG stone mill
Floral Design: Fleurissimo NYC
NYBG stone mill is the wedding venue where you can find historic charm and modern comfort in one place. Just picture a historic stone construction with an outdoor terrace providing views of the Bronx River and its surrounding ancient evergreen trees, adding a hint of natural vibes to the atmosphere. An outdoor space with white chairs lined and tall green trees as your backdrop for the ceremony. And the reception takes place at a recently renewed farm chic space with exposed wooden beams and brick walls. All are painted in white to serve as a blank canvas.
Madeline and Scott chose this magnificent wedding venue for their celebration. Nested in the heart of the New York Botanical Garden, there are so many opportunities to bring any concept you have in mind to reality. It is a neutral but interesting wedding venue, with plenty of natural spaces for your ceremony and to capture beautiful photos with your partner, family, and friends.
The couple chose to have an outdoor ceremony on the terrace with nothing but evergreen trees as a backdrop. To mark the altar, we added a couple of white columns topped with white blooms in various sizes, along with green foliage, with very natural and flowy altar arrangements. We placed chair flowers to enhance the beauty of the ceremony surroundings. And to top it all off, a path of white rose petals to each side of the ceremony chairs.
Indoor, the reception space awaited with a chic barn feel; wooden floors, white ceilings, and walls combined with an accent wall were perfect for our couple's table centerpieces. Every round table had a low centerpiece in a classic pedestal bowl vase and ivory taper candles to add a hint of elegance. Ivory tablecloths brighten up the space and let the table centerpieces be protagonists.
The sweetheart floral followed that same concept with an ivory and green color palette, overflowing the space with a cascade centerpiece.
And a white column as a backdrop with an altar arrangement accentuates the beautiful window behind the sweetheart table.
The bridal bouquet was exquisite and fresh, combining ivory, white, deep, and light greenery with an organic movement and shape and the perfect size to complement the bridal look.
The bridesmaids' bouquets were just as breathtaking without competing with the main star of the evening.
We loved the English garden atmosphere we got from this unique wedding; the location and our selection of blooms and floral design for the occasion were all in harmony.
