When Maya and James reached out about their wedding at the iconic Dumbo Loft in Brooklyn, I was ecstatic. There is a good reason that venue is known as one of the best in all of New York City. Right away I knew that their wedding day was going to be incredible.

Maya described their vision with lots of greenery, succulents, and some soft white florals. Their goal was to create a forest feel with a neutral color pallet that allowed the design to be simple yet stunning. She wanted to compliment the edgy, urban feel of the Dumbo Loft with a soft natural feel. The greenery was the perfect way to do that! I love getting unique custom wedding day designs like this, and it is something I can’t wait to see more of as a NYC florist!

My favorite piece from their day was Maya’s stunning bouquet! It was organic feeling with tons of greenery. To set hers apart from the rest she had bold white dahlias and succulents. It was truly a masterpiece!

Their reception pulled together all the design elements in a unique way. With tall centerpieces made solely of greenery and glass vases it was beyond elegant. With gold chairs and a clean white table-scape the green popped perfectly. Against those exposed brick walls of the Dumbo Loft it couldn’t have been more beautiful.

Looking back on this gorgeous wedding day makes me proud to be a NYC florist! It was so fun getting to work on such a fresh, original design that will stand the test of time.

With greenery being a trend that is on the rise I can’t wait to create more designs like Maya & James’. If you’re interested in chatting about your wedding design and floral needs, reach out to me here! I can’t wait to hear from you!
